Olympus can supply robots to perform various machining operations, including trimming and deburring.

Robots can be fitted with tool heads for mechanical trimming and deburring. One tool head may consist of two or three different tools on different faces, which the robot can orientate for different operations. With the addition of a gripper to the head, the robot could also load and unload the parts being machined.

Reis robots can be programmed to trace complex three dimensional paths with extreme precision and repeatability at high but controlled speed.
