A fully automated robot MIG welding cell needs an automatic torch cleaner to service the welding torch between cycles. Olympus offers pneumatically driven torch cleaners with optional wire cutting and anti-spatter spray attachments.
Reamers are available in a range of sizes to suit the torch gas nozzle. The cleaning operation is triggered by a single digital signal - clamping the torch nozzle and automatically driving the reamer up into the nozzle. An output signal is given to indicate that the nozzle is unclamped.
