Automatic Welding & Cutting

For automatic welding machines, we can supply high quality MIG and TIG automatic torches with ratings up to 550A at 60% duty cycle and including optional wire feed attachments on the TIG torches. Dinse also manufacture precision wire feed systems suitable for MIG and TIG and applications which require bulk wire packs.

Ess MIG and TIG machines use inverter technology for increased flexibility and programmability. They are available with a range of options including gas-cooled and water-cooled, separate or integral wire feed, Synergic and Pulse Synergic MIG welding, and DC, AC and High speed pulse TIG welding. Various automation interfaces are available, including digital & analogue i/o and fieldbus.

Ess turntables are ideal for rotary automatic systems. They can be supplied with an easy to use controller and cam switches to allow for speed control, automatic start stop positions, control of welding on/off (including delay times) and automatic return to start position. We can supply the turntables on their own or as part of a complete automatic welding system. We can also design and make bespoke automatics for linear welding.

Kjellberg Plasma cutting machines are available from compact 35A machines with a 10mm cutting capability up to heavy duty high definition machines capable of cutting through 150mm steel and offering quality cuts through steel up to 110mm thick. We can also supply plasma welding equipment, including powder plasma (PPAW) material deposition.

HKS Weld Monitoring Systems can be used to monitor and analyse welding parameters and give pass/fail feedback and data for automatic quality control.

Robotic welding offers the flexibility of being able to weld a range of different components without changing the mechanical configuration and can be easily redeployed for new projects. As agents for Reis Robotics we offer robot systems which we can design to suit your application, including tooling and other automation equipment. Pictured above is a compact welding cell which is an economical and even portable solution for welding small to medium sized components.
