Olympus can supply welding robots and complete solutions for robotic welding and cutting, ranging from small compact cells to large gantry based systems with external axis for manipulating large workpieces.
The hollow wrist robot range is now available for use with endless rotation torches such as the Dinse Revo.torch. Thus unlimited rotation of the wrist axis is possible without twisting the hose package. This leads to better accessibility, potentially faster cycle times and simpler, faster programming.
Reis robots can be programmed to trace complex three dimensional paths with extreme precision and repeatability at high but controlled speed. Robotic welding is a highly flexible approach to welding automation - a wide range of different parts can be welded by the same system.
We have supplied robots for welding a range of different materials including mild & stainless steel, aluminium and titanium. Robots can be fitted with MIG or TIG welding torches or plasma cutting torches. Tool change systems are available, allowing the robot to automatically switch between two different torches.
The robots can be programmed to perform touch sensing and seam tracking to identify exactly where to weld when positions and tolerances may vary. Weld monitoring systems are available - continually monitoring the welding parameters in process for quality control and analysis.
We can also design, supply and install peripheral robotic welding equipment including welding torches, welding machines, torch cleaners, fume extraction, workpiece fixtures and safety guarding. In addition to our partnership with Reis, we are also the UK agents for Dinse Welding Systems and Ess Welding machines.
