Reis robots are available for payloads up to 600kg. Articulating robots offer a versatile solution where parts need to be oriented whilst handling. Reis' special horizontal articulating robots are particularly good for access into presses where a standard vertical articulating robot arm would interfere.
Unlike many robot manufacturers, Reis also have linear (cartesian) robots which can have very large working areas and can be combined with rotary hand axes. The combined kinematics RVL range of robots combines axes 2-6 of a vertical articulating robot with a linear axis 1, which can be 15m or more in length.
We can design grippers to suit your application using mechanical, vacuum or magnetic gripping technologies. We can also integrate quick change systems to allow for different grippers to be used for different products.
Reis robot software includes many special built in functions for workpiece handling, including functions to optimise robot movement according to payload and the timing of other machines in the system - minimising cycle time and robot wear and tear. Loading and unloading of pallets is easily programmed using built in palletising functions.
