Reis Lasertec is a subsidiary of Reis Robotics specialising in beam guiding systems, sensors and processing optics for laser material processing.
A range of welding and cutting optics are available for CO2, solid state, fibre and diode lasers.
Cutting optics are available with fast dynamic distance control - a driven nozzle moves the optics to give fast variation of focal length.
Laser cladding/welding optics are available with built in powder feed, including a zoom capability to adjust the track width without varying the head position.
The beam control optic was developed to include triangulation sensors which can detect a weld seam position with as little as 0.3mm variation in material height. These can then be used to guide the laser beam onto the seam using a highly dynamic tilting mirrors.
Reis Lasertec also produce mirror units for integrated beam guidance for example down a robot arm. These allow for easy adjustment of the mirrors and removal of the mirrors for cleaning without the need to readjust.
