Olympus can supply robots and complete systems for a wide range of applications in the plastics moulding industry, including glue dispensing, component assembly, packing & palletising, injection moulding machine tending, laser welding & cutting, and mechanical trimming & deburring.

Complex vacuum or mechanical grippers can be designed to handle moulded parts with complicated shapes. Automatic tool change systems allow for the same robot to be used to process a number of different parts. We can also supply ancilliary equipment including conveyors and air nippers.

Reis robots can be programmed to trace complex three dimensional paths with extreme precision and repeatability at high but controlled speed. This makes them ideal for laser cutting or glue dispensing on moulded parts.

Combined kinematics robots which use a combination of linear and articulating axes are ideal on applications where a large working area but also 3D manipulation of parts or tools is required - for example, demoulding from an injection moulding machine and then manipulating the part for other components to be fitted and sprues to be cut off.

For mouldmaking, Reis also manufacture a range of precision tryout/spotting presses.
