Depending on cycle times and distances one robot may be able to tend several machines. A robot with the combined kinematics of linear axes 1, 2 and 3 with one or two articulating axes at the end can provide a large working area and flexibility in the orientation of the workpiece.
Reis robots are available for payloads up to 300kg and with working areas up to 15m x 2m. A wide range of mechanical, vacuum and magnetic grippers can be supplied.
Reis robot software includes many special built in functions for workpiece handling, including functions to optimise robot movement according to payload - minimising cycle time and robot wear and tear.
