Additional Axes
A wide range of additional axes are available for use with both articulating and linear robots.
There are various rotating, tilting and swivelling tables which can be used to hold and manipulate parts being worked on by a robot.
Some additional axes are designed for articulating robots to be mounted to them, such as linear tracks and the rotary C-column. A robot can be mounted to these upside-down, giving the robot a larger working area.
Large rotating tables can be used to provide two working stations - one for the robot to work on whilst the other is being loaded and unloaded.
All additional axes can be completely integrated with the main robot control, enabling complete synchronisation. Olympus will be happy to discuss your requirements with you and to design an efficient and cost effective solution.
